Why is Locker Room Talk important to you?
Let’s face it, the locker room has been well overdue for a rebrand. This event celebrates the voices and creativity of the female, trans and non-binary community - voices we need to hear be hearing more of.
We believe in the power of creativity and how it can get topics that have previously been deemed ‘taboo’ on the table, where they belong. Locker Room is doing just this.
What are you doing in your business to empower women in your community
Who Gives A Crap is dedicated to empowering women both in the communities we focus our impact efforts and within our company.
Currently, more people in the world have access to a smartphone than a toilet, and a lack of access to water, sanitation and hygiene disproportionately affects women and girls. Women are more vulnerable to abuse while walking to a toilet, have specific hygiene needs during menstruation & pregnancy and also usually carry the arduous burden of collecting water for their communities. That’s why we’re on a mission to ensure everyone has access to clean water and a toilet by the year 2050.
Within our company, in a world where only 29% of women are in management positions, we’re proud to say over 40% of our senior leadership team are women and across our global company, 66% of employees identify as women.
