Why is Locker Room Important to you?

I think it’s so important to be a champion for women-led initiatives and involve myself in projects that create conversation around female empowerment and women’s safety. I try to explore these topics in my own work too and am quite open about my own experiences, so creating something for this show was a no-brainer.

Is there a topic or issue that you wished we all talked about more openly?

I think most things should be discussed openly and confidently in regards to women and women’s safety. I know in some circumstances the very thought of speaking up can be very tricky or even dangerous for some women. There shouldn’t be any topics that we feel ashamed or embarrassed to discuss, because there’s always someone out there who is going through or experiencing something similar who can benefit from knowing they’re not alone.

What does success look like to you?

I think being happy, healthy (mentally and physically), doing what you love and being supported by your peers is a pretty nice place to be.

What's something you'd like to see in your dream locker room?

Free period products, unlimited amounts of Aesop products and why not throw some Haigh’s choccy frogs in there too?
